How to get there

The Napper Tandies

Join us for what has become a beloved annual tradition to celebrate St. Patrick's Day at Watts Hall! We're excited to have The Napper Tandies joining us for the third year in a row, bringing a high-energy, all-ages show to Thomaston.

The Napper Tandies have been playing music together for nigh on twenty years, thrilling audiences with their particular brand of Irish music. Consisting primarily of piano accordion, banjo, bouzouki, and upright bass, the lads put their own particular stamp on classics such as Whiskey In The Jar, The Leaving of Liverpool, and many more favorites associated with the like of The Dubliners, The Clancy Brothers, and The Pogues. Their performances bring a rich variety of songs sure to get your feet moving and your heart singing.

Chris Brinn, Matt Smith, and Randy Billings met in a brewery back in the fall of 2000. After discovering a mutual affinity for Irish folk songs, the three decided to work together combining their expansive repertoire of classic melodies, and thus The Napper Tandies were born. Taking their name from the founder of the United Irishmen, the lads have been working together and thrilling audiences ever since.

A: This is not a 21+ event - all ages are welcome! Only guests who are 21+ with a valid ID will be able to purchase alcohol.

Q: Is Watts Hall an accessible venue?

A: Yes, it is! While the auditorium is located on the second floor, we do have an ADA-compliant elevator available to anyone who needs it. We also have an accessible restroom. The doorways and hallways are nice and wide to accommodate mobility aids.

Q: Will tickets be available at the door?

A: Maybe, maybe not. We don't reserve any tickets for door sales and our events often sell out in advance. If you want to guarantee entrance, we recommend purchasing your tickets in advance. We will update our Facebook page and website regarding the availability of door tickets the day of the event. If door tickets are available, they will be priced at $25/person for adults and $20/person for students (plus a $2 service fee if paying by card). We accept cash, cards, and local checks.

Q: Will food and drink be available for purchase?

A: Yes! A cash bar (beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks) will be available. We will also have a selection of light concessions (popcorn, chips, cookies) for purchase. We ask that all guests drink responsibly. Anyone found to be overly intoxicated will be asked to leave the premises immediately without a refund.

A: No. Bringing in outside alcohol is a direct violation of our bar provider's liquor license. As such, anyone found to be in possession of outside alcohol will be asked to leave the premises immediately without a refund.
